Our Concussion Treatment Heals the Brain

Concussions can be hard to diagnose because the symptoms vary depending on what part of the brain is injured. Some common signs of a concussion include impulsiveness, ADD, vision problems, and difficulty speaking.

If you hurt your head and are experiencing symptoms like these, the worst thing you could do is not seek help. After all, our treatments can free you from these concussion symptoms!

Here’s how we get to the heart of the problem to cure concussions:

What are the Root Causes of Concussions?

A common misconception is that a brain injury occurs when the head hits a hard surface. While this can cause a concussion, the true injury happens when the brain hits the inside of the skull.

For this reason, concussions can still occur even when a person was wearing a helmet during the injury.

The impact of the brain against the skull causes the brain to slow down in the impacted area. This deceleration of brain activity is what leads to all the problematic symptoms.

Who Will Typically Suffer from the Disorder?

We most often associate concussions with football players. However, they are not the only ones who will experience the disorder.

The truth is anyone can experience a concussion. We have had clients come in with concussions from a variety of sources, including athletic events, car accidents, and falls around the home.

Wherever your concussion came from, we can help you overcome it.  Our team has many years of experience treating the disorder.

How Can Concussion Treatments Train Your Brain?

When you come to us for concussion treatment, we will make sure you get the support you need.

We do this by first checking to see if you have any skull or neck pain. If we find that your skull and top neck vertebrae are not aligned properly, then we will refer you to an outside specialist to get the care you need. We do not treat vertebrae alignment issues here.

If there are no complications with vertebrae alignment, we will proceed with treatment. Here is what our treatment regimen looks like:

  • Neurofeedback Therapy – We will map the brain to find the slowed-down areas and then send feedback signals to speed the brain up over time.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – We will test for any cognitive skills the concussion may have damaged and then provide exercises to re-develop those skills.

What Results Can I Expect from These Treatments?

Like all good things, our methods for treating this injury take time. How long it takes depends on the unique qualities of each client’s brain. Some people have experienced relief after only a few days, while others need weeks or months of treatment.

We have seen a lot of astounding results come out of sessions with clients, including:

  • Increased focus
  • Greater memory
  • Freedom from migraines
  • Better sleep
  • No more depression or suicidal tendencies

We want to help you experience those same benefits by renewing your magnificent mind!
